Burke Independent Update

We now have cards that you can print out to help get the word out. Please post these where you can and give one to all of your friends and family members. The more people who know about the site, the more news we will get. The more news we get, the more you will know about what is really going on in Burke County.

We are not trying to be a mainstream news source. We want to have the news that no one else will report.

If you have a story, you can post it to the site. To do so, you must be authorized by the site administrator by sending an e-mail to admin AT burkeindependent DOT com. If you have some news that you want to share anonymously, you can send it to news AT burkeindependent DOT com. We will post it under the Burke Independent name.
